Krushak Odisha Portal (କୃଷକ ଓଡିଶା): The agriculture sector in Odisha is the backbone of the state’s economy. About 60% of the state’s population is engaged in agriculture, and agriculture contributes about 16% to the state’s GDP. 

Keeping in mind these challenges, financial assistance, weather crisis, etc., the Odisha government launched the “Krushak Odisha Portal” on 21 December 2018. This initiative has brought a change in the lives of small, marginal and landless farmers of the state. The scheme covers all new agriculture-based workers, including farmers, agricultural labourers, animal herders and fishermen.

Objective of Krishak Odisha Scheme

Through this Krushak Odisha Portal, the Odisha government (ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସରକାର) wants to fulfil the following objectives:

• To increase agricultural production.
• To provide financial assistance to farmers.
• To ensure the timely supply of seeds, fertilisers, pesticides, etc.
• To provide the benefits of social security schemes to farmers.
• To ensure the welfare of fishermen and animal herders by connecting them with agricultural work.
• To provide insurance and pension facilities to farmers.

Steps for CM Kisan Odisha Apply Online or Krushak Odisha Apply Online 2025:

1. Visit the official portal: Open in browser (Krushak Odisha gov in). Click the “Register/Login” button on the homepage.
2. Aadhaar-based registration: Enter your Aadhaar number, then click on “Krushak Odisha Login”. Enter the OTP sent to the mobile linked to Aadhaar (e-KYC will be completed).
3. Fill in personal details: Fill in the name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, address details, etc.
4. Update land and new agriculture data: Enter the details of your land, including your district-village (Khata/Plot no., crop type and season year). Fill in the details related to animal husbandry, fisheries, and forestry (if you are involved).
5. Upload Documents: Upload the required documents.
6. Review and Submit: Check carefully whether all details are correct or not. After clicking on Submit, you will receive an Acknowledgement slip and Registration ID (Krushak Odisha ID).

Krushak Odisha Portal Eligibility for Beneficiaries

The following eligibility conditions are prescribed for availing the benefits of Krusaka Odisha (କୃଷକ ଓଡିଶା):

• Be a permanent resident of Odisha.
• Should be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a bank account and an Aadhaar card.
• Should not be a government employee, income taxpayer or professional.
• Be a farmer or agricultural labourer (landed or landless).

The state government has also launched a mobile app named Krushak Odisha Unified Portal. Through this app, farmers can easily:

Krushak Odisha Benefits

Here are the benefits of Odisha Krishak (କୃଷକ ଓଡିଶା), as follows:

1. Financial assistance: The government sends financial assistance to farmers directly into their accounts. This amount is given for sowing crops, seeds, fertilisers, pesticides, etc.
2. Insurance Protection: Farmers are provided insurance protection under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Life Insurance and Accident Insurance.
3. Pension Scheme: Farmers above the age of 60 years are given an old age pension of ₹3000 per month.
4. Subsidy on Agricultural Equipment: Under the Krishak Odisha Scheme (କୃଷକ ଓଡିଶା), a subsidy is given on the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment.
5. Technical assistance: Technical information, like crop information, pest control, and weather forecast, is given through SMS and the App.

• Click on the “Beneficiary List” option.
• Select your District, Block/ULB, and GP (Gram Panchayat).
• Click the “View” button. This will open the names of all the beneficiaries of that area in a PDF.

Krushak Parichaya Patra (Farmer ID Odisha)

• From 1 January 2025, the Odisha government launched a digital farmer identity card called “Krushak Parichaya Patra”.
• It is linked to Aadhaar, and through this, the information of land, crop, livestock, and government scheme benefits, etc., is updated dynamically.
• The registration work was completed between January and March 2025.
• Government departments assisted farmers in registration through camps and Mo-Seva centres (Mo Krushak Odisha) at the panchayat level.
• Farmers registered in PM-Kisan were given priority in this process by the Krushak Odisha portal.
