Jnanabhumi Portal జ్ఞానభూమి పోర్టల్ is a digital initiative of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, developed to provide the benefits of government schemes and scholarships to students in a transparent, fast, and technologically advanced manner. The portal is operated under the departments of Social Welfare, Tribal Welfare, Backward Classes Welfare, Minority Welfare, and Differently Abled Welfare.

What Is Jnanabhumi?

This Portal, literally meaning “land of knowledge”, is the name of a senior and support portal created by the Andhra Pradesh state government. The portal is primarily designed for student groups residing in South India.

The portal is managed by the following departments:

• Backwards Classes Welfare
• Social Welfare
• Minority Welfare and other related departments

It aims to ensure that students from LGBTQ+, Divyang, EWS, and transgender communities also get easy access to financial aid for education.

The objective of this portal is to provide scholarships and educational benefits to deserving students of the state, so that no student is deprived of education due to financial problems.

AP జ్ఞానభూమి స్కాలర్‌షిప్ కోసం అర్హత ప్రమాణాలు – Eligibility Criteria For AP Jnanabhumi Scholarship

Here is the eligibility criterion given for the scholarship:

• The applicant should be a resident of Andhra Pradesh
• Should be studying regularly in a recognised institute
• Should have an Aadhar card, a caste certificate, income certificate
• The student should not be availing the benefit of any other scholarship scheme (duplicate benefit is prohibited)

Category-Wise Eligibility Criteria

1. SC

• The applicant must be a certified member of the SC community.
• The annual income of the family should be less than ₹2.5 lakh.
• Must be studying in a recognised institute

2. Scheduled Tribes (ST)

• The applicant must belong to the ST caste.
• The annual income of the family should not exceed ₹ 2.5 lakh.
• Should be pursuing regular education in a state/nationally recognised institute.

3. Backwards Classes (BC)

• A BC caste certificate is required.
• Annual income less than ₹1.5 lakh for rural areas
• Less than ₹2 lakh for urban areas
• Enrolment in a recognised institute is a must.

4. Minorities (Minorities – Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsi, Jain)

• Must be a certified member of the minority community.
• Annual income should not exceed ₹1.5 lakh.
• The course should be in regular mode.

5. Economically Weaker Section (EBC)

• General Category students whose family income is less than ₹2 lakh.
• Studying in a recognised institute.
• An income certificate is mandatory.

6. Kapu Category

• Students of the Kapu caste are recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
• The annual income of the family should be less than ₹1 lakh (rural) / ₹2 lakh (urban).
• Eligible for Post-Matric schemes only.

 7. Differently Abled / Physically Handicapped

• Must have a disability certificate certified by a government hospital.
• Minimum 40% disability required.
• If you fall under any category, you can get additional assistance.

జ్ఞానభూమి స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌కు ఎలా దరఖాస్తు చేయాలి – How To Apply For The Jnanabhumi Scholarship?

Here is the application process of the scholarship:

Step 1: Visit the Official website. Click on “Student Login” జ్ఞానభూమి స్టూడెంట్ లా గిన్ or “New Registration”.

Step 2: Enter your Aadhaar number, name, mobile number, email ID, and date of birth.

Verify the mobile number by OTP. Generate a username and password.

Step 3: Jnanabhumi Login with the registered username and password. Click on the “Scholarship” section.

Step 4: Fill out the application form

• Personal information (name, DOB, gender, address)
• Academic information (institute name, course, year)
• Bank information (IFSC code, bank account number – must be linked to Aadhaar)
• Caste/Income certificate details

Step 5: Upload required documents.

Step 6: To Submit the Application, Click on “Submit”. After applying, keep the application number safe.

Step 7: To Track Status, log in, and go to “Application Status”. Check the status of your application (Verification, Approval, Payment).

Step 8: Renewal – In every academic year, the student has to renew the application. Fill out the “Renewal Form” and upload the latest mark sheet and documents.

1. Navigate to the official site.

2. Click on the “Login” button on the homepage.

3. After logging in, the dashboard will open

4. Go to the menu and click on “Application/Scholarship Status” or “Track Application” option

5. Now you will see the current status of your application, such as:
